YouTube Publishing

megavid.io helps creators prepare short videos through its creator app. Connecting YouTube identifies the channel you select and links it to your megavid.io account. The upload permission is for videos you explicitly choose to publish through the service.

megavid.io is operated by Megavid OÜ.

Access is rolling out gradually. You can connect your channel and join the waiting list now. Video delivery and publishing depend on the features available to your account. Connecting a channel does not publish a video.

How the connection works

1. Get started in megavid.io and choose to connect YouTube.
2. Google shows the permissions requested by megavid.io.
3. Select and confirm the exact YouTube channel you want to use.
4. Return to megavid.io to see your connection and access status.
5. When publishing is available, review the video and publishing settings and explicitly approve each upload.

What the permissions are for

• read basic channel information to identify and display the connected channel;
• upload videos with the title, description, visibility, audience, and altered or synthetic content disclosure you approve; and
• read status information needed to confirm whether publishing succeeded.

megavid.io does not receive your Google password. Account connection and publishing infrastructure is provided on our behalf by Post for Me. You can disconnect at any time or revoke access from your Google Account.

Your control

Only connect a channel you are authorized to manage. To disconnect the channel or request deletion of associated data, contact support@megavid.io. You can also revoke access directly from Google Account connections.
